Our Nonprofit Mission Is To Reduce Euthanizations By Increasing Adoptions While Socializing Cats
As LAs only nonprofit Cat Cafe, our core belief is to make our cats rich, not people. Every contribution goes 100% back to our mission of creating positive moments. Those moments mean one less cat at risk of being euthanized, providing a cat-centric environment for our kittos to thrive, rehabilitating an undersocialized cat at risk of being euthanized, and most importantly, helping our guests feel welcome and open to adopting one (or two) of our 20-30 adoptable cats.

CatCafe Lounge Concept
From our onsite cafe guests can enjoy fresh brewed coffee to sip and a light snack to nibble, while lounging in a room full of adorable adoptable cats (20-30) for 70 minutes. We formed as a nonprofit because contributions should support life-saving (period). We believe all cat lives matter and love sharing our kittos backgrounds, favorite toy, or adorable belly rub moments. |

Our Cat Lounge
Cats are center stage at CatCafe Lounge! Our catified lounge was designed for cats and made comfortable for guests. Cats need space to climb, run, scratch, and hide, if they need a break. We've made sure to provide everything our kittos need to live a happy, stress-free life while they wait for their furever home. We are honored that so many cat cafe's have followed our lead in designing a space that benefits cats, not just people. |

Our Founder
Lover of cats (although very allergic), Kristi Labrenz took the business fundamentals learned in corporate america and combined them with the sage advice from rescue change-maker BFAS, and created CatCafe Lounge in 2017. "I dreamed of creating a more humane way to adopt cats. Providing them an environment designed for their needs, finding a team that would champion them, and ultimately help them find the best furever home. Our driving force is COMPASSION. For our rescue partner, Kitten Rescue, that we support in expanding their life-saving efforts, for every kitto that comes under our roof, and of course for our supporters and guests. When you visit CatCafe Lounge you immediately feel at home and soak in all the genuine love we have for cats, togetherness, and life. " |
